Morimoto Construction Co., Ltd.

Morimoto Construction has built interiors in Tokyo since 1998, including the Imperial Hotel. In Malaysia we work with and train local craftspeople to the same standard. We quote after seeing the site.

Interior work is not finished by placing materials to a drawing. A flat substrate, a clean trim junction, a door that closes true — the last few millimetres are done by hand.

In Malaysia we do not fly craftspeople in. We work alongside local tradespeople and train them, using methods suited to local materials and climate, to the standard taken for granted on Japanese sites. It takes longer. We think it is the form that lasts.
